Booking Tickets
Online
All our tickets are available online through the Festival Line-Up page. You can search by day, category, charge and much more to find the right event for you. Some events are free, but may still require a ticket.
All our event tickets bought online will take you through to WeGotTickets, which is our online ticketing platform. They will be subjected to a booking fee.
In Person
This year Bude Library will be our Festival Office base. The staff team will be able to offer you guidance on the programme of events, as well as be a base to buy tickets in person.
Bude Library will be open to purchase tickets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10am until 5pm. In addition, they are also open on Saturdays from 10am until 1pm.
Please note that we are working to provide card services to our Festival Box Office at Bude Library, but presently, these are CASH only. Cash machine destinations can be found quickly through an online search.
There will also be tickets sold on the door of each event, should there be remaining tickets left.
Arrival Times
The doors will open approximately 30mins before the event starts. Please check your ticket for this information.
Please arrive in plenty of time for your event, especially if you have to find a parking space and/or intend to get refreshments.
Cancellations
Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds on tickets once purchased. However, if for some unforeseen circumstance, the event is cancelled, we shall refund the ticket cost in full (excluding any booking fees paid if applicable).
Registered Disabled
If you are registered disabled and need a chaperone/care assistant/therapy animal, please contact us so we can accommodate your needs for the event you are booked in to see.

Terms and Conditions
All details in the festival programme were correct at the time of going to print or appearing on the website. We may have to change programmes and artists if circumstances dictate, but we will make our best efforts to inform all customers of any changes as soon as we are aware. We cannot provide a refund if the event is still taking place.
In the event of the total cancellation of any single event due to circumstances beyond the Bude Literary Festival control, customers will be refunded. Unfortunately we are unable to refund any booking fees. The festival shall have no liability for losses or costs which you may incur due to such cancellation.
We reserve the right to change the Venue, if ticket sales differ greatly from the anticipated numbers. Any changes will be advertised, and Stewards will be on hand to direct you to the correct place.
The management reserves the right to refuse admission. Tickets are issued subject to the Rules and Regulations of the Venue.
Event start times are punctual. Please allow plenty of time to arrive and be seated (or in place) before the event starts. If you are late our stewards will do their best to show you to your seat (or space) with minimal disturbance to the event, but you may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance.
Any person attending an Bude Literary Festival event consents to the recording and filming of themselves as members of the audience in such instances whereby recording and filming occurs. Personal audio recorders and mobile phones are not permitted to be used in the venues. We ask that all mobile devises are switched off during any performance.
All ticket purchases made online and will receive digital tickets as a standard option. You will receive a digital ticket immediately after making payment. You can show your digital ticket on your mobile devise or print the ticket and bring it with you. Any specific booking terms and conditions that relate to the ticketing platform will be disclosed to you at the time of booking.
It is prohibited to make commercial use of any tickets purchased from the Bude Literary Festival. Any ticket that is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the Bude Literary Festival may be voided, and the holder may be refused entry, or ejected from the venue.
Buying a ticket will ensure that you get into the event, but we cannot guarantee a seat in any particular location/venue. In accordance with security regulations, all venues will be cleared of belongings and Festivalgoers in preparation for the next event.
The Bude Literary Festival cannot be responsible for any personal liability for damages, loss or injury sustained during the events, if the cause is due to the negligence of the ticket holder or the unforeseeable actions of other patrons or visitors.
Bude Literary Festival Childrenâs Events: An adult must accompany all children under the age of fourteen. The Bude Literary Festival cannot be responsible for children who are unattended. All age recommendations are as suggested by the publisher and at the discretion of the person purchasing the ticket.
