Dawn Robinson-Walsh & Helen Shingler – ‘Family History Writing Workshop’

In recent years, Dawn tutored two writing groups in Bude. This writing workshop will be based around how to research and write up your family history, so it becomes a wonderful story to pass on to your future generations, rather than just a collection of dates.  Dawn Robinson-Walsh is a non-fiction writer and has written three commissioned local history books on Bude: ‘Bude Through Time’, ‘Bude in Old Postcards’ and ‘Secret Bude’, plus one about a Bude resident, tarot artist Pamela Colman Smith,  a book born from her own driven interest and research. Dawn is currently involved in a community social history project.
