Recurring Event Event Series: Author Talks

Back in the Classroom with Len Tozer and Trevor Lashbrook

18 May @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

£4

After a lifetime spent in Bude, Len Tozer used lockdown to write a memoir that could one day be a book. He wrote longhand with pen and paper, recalling the key events and moments of his life to date. His good friend Trevor Lashbrook has written ‘Rough as Hedges’ and ‘A Poisoned Chalice’ to recount his boyhood and school stories. Clair Roberts will keep good order and tease out their favourite school memories in this rare opportunity to listen to living local legends, back on the site of Len’s former school.

Doors will open from 30 minutes before the event. Age Advisory: All Ages Welcome. Seating: Unreserved. Accessibility: Disabled Car Parking and disabled toilets.

Tickets will be available to purchase from 1st March until the morning of the event online and in person from Bude Library from the 1st March until the day before the event (during their open hours).
