‘The Map That Led to You’ Reading and Q&A with Ella McLeod

18 May @ 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Free

Ella McLeod’s debut, ‘Rapunzella,’ or ‘Don’t Touch My Hair,’ was published in 2022 and was lauded as a genre-defying and defining fairy tale reimagining, combining poetry and prose.

Her second book, ‘The Map That Led to You,’ is an epic and ambitious fantasy about freedom, love and home. Set across two worlds, it weaves a narrative between Caribbean and European sea mythology, featuring pirates, witches, a powerful mermaid, and a mysterious sea dragon. Ella who is also a podcaster and public speaker will create a special workshop for families based on her books

Doors will open from 30 minutes before the event. Age Advisory: 14 years+. Seating: Unreserved. Accessibility: Disabled parking outside of the building, wheelchair accessible inside venue with toilets on the ground floor.

Tickets will be available to purchase from 1st March until the morning of the event online and in person from Bude Library from the 1st March until the day before the event (during their open hours).
