Last year we welcomed thousands of visitors to Bude, celebrating the written word. This year we saw bigger numbers and a host of tourists visiting the town, encouraging the creative word to once again be celebrated.
Hosted by Bude-Stratton Town Council, Bude Lit Fest has once again been supported by this wonderful community. From our Key Supporters at Spencer Thorn Bookshop and Oxford Bidding Services to our wonderful selection of independent businesses and community groups, who have helped to support the festival through sponsorship and events.
To top it all off, we have a fantastic group of volunteers, whom we lovingly refer to as our ‘bookworms’ who have a wealth of knowledge and expertise whom play an inaugural part in making the festival a great success!

Become a Bookworm
Every year we have a team of dedicated volunteers to help the festival run smoothly. From front of house at the Festival Office, to chaperoning our event artists, there are many jobs that allow you to be involved in the hub of excitement that surrounds the festival.
